Wellness Programs

Photo: Fresh strawberries at Stone Soup Farm as part of the farm share programAt the NonProfit Center, we are passionate about progressive social change. We are also passionate about the people who champion that change and we want them to stay happy and healthy.

The NonProfit Center’s Wellness Programs are designed to help staff in the center and in the broader Boston community take time to recharge and re-engage. Our regularly scheduled Wellness Programs are easily-accessible opportunities to have fun, exercise and relax.

We provide much needed access to local, organic and affordable food through the community-supported agriculture program with Stone Soup Farms. We also occasionally work with socially responsible product vendors to increase awareness about healthy purchasing choices.

The NonProfit Center is pleased to offer the following wellness programs:

Yoga for the Workplace

The perfect mid-day break: yoga!

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a stress reduction technique that uses the mind’s ability to be aware. It is beneficial for anyone who wants to cope with stress in a healthy manner.

Pilates

Pilates is a full body workout that builds muscles without bulk through a sequence of controlled, precise movements.

Farm Share program with Stone Soup Farm
