Pilates is a full body workout that builds muscles without bulk through a sequence of controlled, precise movements. Pilates strengthens the muscles that support the spine, the neck, shoulders, abs, hips and thighs, and brings balance to the body. The exercises, which focus on proper alignment, improve flexibility and strength with a particular focus on the core.
