The NonProfit Center is Boston’s home for progressive social change.

After completing an extensive planning process, Third Sector New England proudly founded the NonProfit Center in 2004. With over 110,000 rentable square feet, the NonProfit Center is now one of the largest multi-tenant nonprofit buildings in the United States. The center provides nine floors of affordable office space for a diverse community of tenant organizations. The center also offers numerous meeting rooms equipped with state-of-the-art communications technology. Meeting rooms are made available to tenants and other 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations.

The NonProfit Center provides tenant organizations:

  • stability through affordable, stable rents
  • resources from shared infrastructure
  • synergy through a collaborative environment that serves both tenant organizations and other nonprofits
  • exposure for all area nonprofits through greater community visibility

The NonProfit Center supports the needs of its tenants with high-quality on-site, property management, building engineering, security, cleaning and recycling services. The building also has dedicated space for bike racks and accessible showers to encourage alternative means of commuting and a healthy lifestyle.

Third Sector New England supplements these building amenities with cost-effective shared services and programs to support and strengthen the nonprofit community.

The NonProfit Center strives to be a good neighbor by utilizing sustainable design, materials and technologies. The center participates in three-stream recycling services and is constantly seeking to improve its environmental performance. This commitment and the center’s recent LEED certification contribute to both the community and environment in Boston’s historic Leather District.
