Boston’s Home for Social Change Nonprofits

Energy Conscious. The NonProfit Center is now purchasing 100 percent of its annual power needs with a utility green power product from PEPCO Energy.

In addition, the NonProfit Center has been awarded the Energy Star from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, making the center one of only 17 office buildings in Boston to receive this national distinction.

New Capacity Building Training Series. Registration is now open for TSNE’s Nonprofit Capacity Building Training Series. Hosted at the NonProfit Center, the series features nine (9) workshops designed to help you make a clearer connection between daily management functions and organizational mission.

Shared Space. The Shared Space Community is now accepting tenant organizations for our second floor area. It offers small nonprofit groups an affordable and welcomed alternative to other commercial space options.

Planning a Meeting? Our Community Meeting and Training facilities are available for rental by all area nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations. View the rooms, learn about the amenities available and get rental information.

The NonProfit Center, developed by Third Sector New England, is the first mission-based, multi-tenant center in Massachusetts created exclusively as a home for progressive social change organizations. Located at 89 South Street in Boston’s historic Leather District, the center is within walking distance of the Massachusetts State House, Boston City Hall and the city’s financial district.

The NonProfit Center provides nine floors of comfortable, functional office and meeting space for both large and small nonprofits. As a “green” building following the principles of sustainable design, construction and management, the center offers tenants a healthy and pleasant work environment.
